Poland among the countries most frequently attacked in cyberspace
Poland has become one of the main targets for hacker attacks in the world. As reported by General Karol Molenda, commander of the Cyberspace Defense Forces Component, our country regularly faces attempts to breach network security. This situation stems from the current geopolitical climate and Poland's active role in the region.
Every day, Polish services responsible for digital security neutralize numerous threats. Experts emphasize that the attacks take various forms – from attempts to steal confidential data to actions aimed at destabilizing the country's critical infrastructure. Thanks to the work of specialists, most of these attempts are effectively blocked.
The fight against cybercrime requires not only modern technology but also constant, round-the-clock network monitoring. The military and other state institutions are cooperating to ensure protection for citizens and key IT systems. General Molenda notes that the threat level remains high, which requires the state to maintain constant readiness.
Experts also remind us that online security depends on the awareness of users themselves. It is worth taking care of strong passwords, updating software, and exercising caution while using the internet. Responsible behavior by each of us supports the efforts of the services in protecting Poland's digital space.
