Polish electric car factory: commission approval granted
The project to build a factory for the Polish electric car brand Izera has reached an important milestone. The European Commission has issued a positive decision regarding investment support, which clears the way for construction work to begin. This is a key moment for the Polish automotive sector, which aims to develop modern, environmentally friendly technologies.
The factory is to be built in Jaworzno, in the Silesian Voivodeship. The investment involves not only car production but also the creation of thousands of new jobs for engineers, specialists, and production workers. The location in the heart of Poland's industrial region is intended to facilitate access to a qualified workforce and modern logistics infrastructure.
The European Commission's decision confirms that the planned financial support is in line with EU state aid regulations. As a result, the Polish project can now count on stable financing, which had been one of the biggest challenges for the investors. Project representatives emphasize that the Polish electric car is intended to be affordable and modern in order to compete effectively in the European market.
Building the factory is an opportunity for the development of the Polish economy and for increasing the share of electromobility in transport. Experts note that having its own electric car brand could strengthen Poland's position as an important player in the European automotive industry. Now, investors will focus on selecting contractors and preparing the site for the construction of the modern facility.
