Poland invests 753 million zlotys in modern defense technologies
The Polish government has announced significant financial support for the domestic defense sector. As part of a program called PERUN, 753 million zlotys, which corresponds to approximately 175 million euros, has been allocated for the development of modern defense technologies.
A total of 29 different research and technological projects will receive funding. The goal of this initiative is to strengthen the potential of the Polish army and support innovative solutions being developed in Polish scientific centers and defense companies.
The PERUN program aims to modernize military equipment and increase national security through investments in domestic technical expertise. Thanks to these funds, Polish scientists and engineers will be able to work on advanced systems that will enter service with the Polish Armed Forces in the future.
The decision to grant these funds underscores the state's priority approach to defense issues in light of the current geopolitical situation. These investments are intended not only to improve the combat readiness of the military but also to stimulate the development of Poland's technology industry.
