The future of Polish construction: conclusions from the 35th Economic Forum
During the 35th Economic Forum in Karpacz, experts from the construction industry discussed the current state of the Polish market. Representatives of Holcim Polska emphasized that the Polish construction sector has reached a stage of maturity, which necessitates a change in approach to investments and a greater focus on modern technologies.
Experts point out that the construction market in Poland is no longer based solely on rapid growth, but on stability and quality. In the face of changing EU regulations and rising energy costs, companies must increasingly invest in ecological solutions. The construction of the future is intended to be not only durable but, above all, environmentally friendly.
A key challenge for the sector remains the energy transition. Construction companies must adapt their production processes to the requirements of a circular economy. This means, among other things, more frequent use of recycled materials and reducing the carbon footprint during the creation of new buildings.
Summarizing the discussions at the Forum, experts indicated that Polish construction companies have the potential to become innovation leaders in the region. Although the market is demanding, appropriate investments in modern technologies will allow for maintaining competitiveness in the coming years.
