Poland and Slovakia strengthen defense cooperation
Poland and Slovakia have signed a new agreement on cooperation in the defense sector. The agreement aims to strengthen the security of both countries through the exchange of technology and joint activities in the area of military production.
A key element of the agreement is the utilization of Slovak production capabilities regarding artillery ammunition. Through this cooperation, both sides hope to replenish stocks more quickly and increase defensive potential in the Central European region.
The second important point of the agreement is the exchange of modern technological solutions. Poland plans to provide Slovakia with its advanced anti-drone system called SAN. This system is designed for the detection and neutralization of unmanned aerial vehicles, which is particularly significant in the face of modern battlefield threats.
Experts emphasize that strengthening relations between Warsaw and Bratislava is a significant step for the security of NATO's eastern flank. Joint armament projects allow both countries to better coordinate their actions and become independent of external supplies.
The signed pact is another example of growing military cooperation within the Visegrad Group. Representatives of both governments announce that this is only the beginning of joint investments aimed at modernizing the armies of both states in the coming years.
