Poland increases ammunition production: New cooperation in Niewiadów
Poland is taking further steps to strengthen its national security through the development of its domestic defense industry. A key element of this strategy is increasing ammunition production capacity, which is intended to make the country independent of external supplies in the face of the changing geopolitical situation in Europe.
The Niewiadów plants, known for their long tradition in the arms industry, have received technological support from the Łukasiewicz Research Network. This cooperation aims to modernize production lines and implement innovative solutions that will allow for faster and more efficient manufacturing of ammunition for the needs of the Polish Armed Forces.
Experts emphasize that the development of domestic production capacity is essential for maintaining the army's combat readiness. Thanks to the involvement of research institutes, Polish plants are gaining access to modern technologies, which translates not only into product quality but also into employee safety and the optimization of production costs.
The investment in Niewiadów is part of a broader government plan involving the expansion of Poland's defense potential in the coming years. Similar actions are also being taken at other defense plants across the country, which is ultimately intended to create a strong and independent supply chain for the military sector.
The initiatives undertaken represent an important signal to NATO allies, demonstrating Poland's determination to build a strong army. Thanks to the cooperation between science and industry, Poland is becoming an increasingly important link in the European security system, while simultaneously increasing its resilience to potential crises.
