Free public transport in Poznań: Check how to use it
Residents and tourists visiting Poznań can count on conveniences when using public transport. City authorities have introduced the option of free travel for those planning to attend events organized by the MTP Group.
To take advantage of free transport, passengers must meet a specific condition. It is necessary to purchase a ticket for the selected event in advance. This can be done via the official MTP Group app or through the popular online platform ToBilet.
During ticket inspections on buses or trams, passengers will be required to show a valid admission ticket for the event. This document entitles them to free travel on lines organized by the Municipal Transport Authority in Poznań.
This solution aims to facilitate travel to trade fairs and conferences, which attract thousands of people to the capital of Greater Poland. By integrating admission tickets with public transport, the organizers want to encourage participants to leave their cars behind in favor of public transit.
Those planning a visit to Poznań should remember to check the regulations for a specific event before traveling. This will help them avoid misunderstandings during inspections and allow them to fully enjoy the prepared amenities.
