Andrzej Halicki: Frozen Russian assets and Europe's security
Andrzej Halicki, a Polish Member of the European Parliament, has spoken out on the key challenges facing Poland and the entire European Union. In his recent statements, the politician focused primarily on security issues, including the threats resulting from the hybrid war waged by Russia.
One of the main topics raised by the MEP is the issue of frozen Russian assets. Halicki emphasizes that these funds should be used strategically to support European security and assist in the reconstruction of Ukraine. The debate on this topic is currently taking place at the EU level and is attracting significant interest among member states.
The politician also drew attention to the SAFE program, which aims to strengthen the resilience of European countries against various types of crises. According to Halicki, Poland must be particularly vigilant in the face of new threats, which are not always military in nature but often strike at social stability and critical infrastructure.
According to the MEP, the key to effective protection against hybrid activities is close cooperation between European Union countries. Halicki notes that only a united position of the member states will allow for effective counteraction to Russian influence and ensure the security of citizens in the coming years.
