Major investment in Dąbrowa Górnicza: ArcelorMittal steelworks focuses on ecology
ArcelorMittal Poland has announced the start of a major investment at its steelworks in Dąbrowa Górnicza. The company will allocate nearly 60 million PLN for the modernization of its dedusting installation, which is a key step toward improving environmental standards in the region.
The project involves replacing and upgrading the systems responsible for air purification during production processes. Thanks to new technologies, the plant will be able to more effectively reduce dust emissions, which will directly impact air quality in the city and surrounding areas.
This investment is part of the company's broader strategy, which aims to reduce the negative impact of heavy industry on the environment. The modernization of the dedusting installation is not only a legal requirement but also a response to the expectations of the local community, which has been highlighting environmental protection issues for years.
The modernization work is expected to last several months. Representatives of the steelworks emphasize that despite the ongoing work, the plant will continue its production activities. This investment shows that Polish industry is increasingly willing to invest in nature-friendly solutions, combining economic development with a commitment to ecology.
