Poland supports Patriot missile production in Ukraine
The Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs has spoken out regarding military support for Ukraine. According to the head of Polish diplomacy, the issuance of a license by the United States that would allow Ukraine to independently produce Patriot missiles would be a very important step.
In the opinion of Polish government representatives, such a decision would constitute a clear sign of solidarity with Kyiv. In the face of the ongoing conflict, the ability to locally manufacture advanced anti-aircraft weapons would significantly strengthen the defensive capabilities of our eastern neighbors.
Patriot systems are a key element in protecting the Ukrainian sky from missile attacks. Currently, Ukraine uses systems provided by Western countries, but increasing the availability of ammunition and spare parts is essential for maintaining the continuity of defense.
Experts emphasize that US involvement in this project could accelerate the process of rearming Ukraine. Poland, as a country directly bordering the area of hostilities, has been actively supporting initiatives aimed at increasing security in the region since the beginning of the conflict.
At this moment, no final decisions have been made in Washington regarding the granting of the license. However, the Polish side announces that it will continue talks with American partners to promote this solution as an effective way to support stability in Central and Eastern Europe.
