Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland ends his mission
Vasyl Bodnar, the current Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, will soon leave his post in Warsaw. The diplomat held this position during key events for Polish-Ukrainian relations, including after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
According to information provided by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bodnar is not retiring from diplomacy. Upon his return to Kyiv, he will take on a new, responsible position within the structures of Ukraine's foreign ministry.
The decision to change the ambassador is part of broader reshuffles within the Ukrainian diplomatic service. Vasyl Bodnar was involved in many initiatives aimed at securing support for Ukraine from the Polish government and society, as well as issues related to assistance for war refugees.
At this moment, no official information has been provided regarding who will replace Vasyl Bodnar as ambassador to Poland. The process of selecting a new diplomatic representative is underway, and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is awaiting an official note on the matter.
