A new large-scale wind farm has received its production license in Galați County
An important project for green energy in Romania has taken a decisive step toward operation. The Green Breeze wind farm, located in the commune of Cuca in Galați County, has recently received its official operating license, which allows it to begin commercial electricity production.
This investment is significant, with an installed capacity of nearly 100 MW. The project benefits from the financial support of the American technology giant Apple, a company that consistently invests in renewable energy sources to reduce its carbon footprint globally.
The construction of the wind farm represents an advantage for the national energy system, contributing to the increase in production capacity of energy from non-polluting sources. Utilizing wind power to generate electricity is a priority for Romania, in the context of European objectives for the transition to a greener economy.
The completion of this project demonstrates the interest of foreign investors in our country's wind potential. The commissioning of the Cuca wind farm will bring added stability to the power grid and will support Romania's efforts to become an important producer of clean energy in the region.
