Bucharest residents are invited to "Open Streets": a weekend full of art and history in the city center
This weekend, on September 5 and 6, residents and visitors of Bucharest can once again enjoy the "Open Streets – Bucharest, Urban Promenade" event. Calea Victoriei will be transformed into a pedestrian zone, offering the public the opportunity to spend time outdoors, away from the hustle and bustle of regular car traffic.
The program prepared for this weekend is diverse and focuses on urban culture. Among the main attractions is a unique exhibition of historic motorcycles, which will certainly appeal to enthusiasts of classic vehicles. This initiative brings an extra touch of color and history to the Capital's main artery.
In addition to the vehicle exhibitions, the organizers have prepared numerous artistic moments and sports activities. Those who choose to take a walk on Calea Victoriei will be able to participate in creative workshops, dance demonstrations, and small street performances. These activities are designed to be accessible to all ages, from children to adults.
The "Open Streets" event has already become an appreciated tradition in Bucharest, aiming to encourage walking and social interaction in safe public spaces. Local authorities invite citizens to take advantage of the beautiful weather and discover the city from a relaxed and pedestrian perspective.
Access to all activities within the program is free. Participants are encouraged to follow common-sense rules and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city center throughout Saturday and Sunday.
