New opportunity at the Bucharest Stock Exchange: Investments in the Polish market
The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) is expanding its offering for investors starting October 12. Investment manager InterCapital will list a new ETF (Exchange Traded Fund), which provides direct access to the Polish capital market.
The new financial instrument is designed to track the performance of the WIG30 Total Return index. This index includes the 30 largest and most liquid companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, thus offering geographical diversification for those who wish to place their savings outside Romania's borders.
Through this ETF, Romanian investors can buy shares in dozens of Polish companies in a single transaction. This method simplifies the investment process, eliminating the need to buy shares of each company individually, which reduces costs and the time required for portfolio management.
The launch of this product comes in the context of an increasingly dynamic capital market in the Central and Eastern European region. Experts believe that such instruments facilitate local investors' access to important foreign markets, contributing to the maturation of the financial system in Romania.
Those interested in this opportunity can trade the new ETF through authorized brokers. This initiative represents an important step for the Bucharest Stock Exchange in its effort to become a regional platform more connected to European stock exchanges.
