The "One World Romania Communities" project brings activism and the right to housing to the forefront
The "One World Romania" documentary film and human rights festival has launched a new project this year titled "One World Romania Communities." This pilot initiative aims to bring the public closer to current social issues through events organized in various cities across the country.
The main objective of this project is to open important discussions about how we live and the importance of shared space. Among the topics addressed are the right to housing and the role of civic activism in improving the quality of life in urban environments.
The organizers aim to create a space for dialogue between citizens, specialists, and authorities. Through film screenings and debates, participants are invited to analyze the problems faced by local communities and to seek solutions together for a better and more inclusive life.
This endeavor underscores the festival's desire to step out of cinema halls and actively engage in the life of communities across Romania. The "One World Romania Communities" project marks a new stage in the festival's evolution, focusing on education and the direct involvement of the public in societal issues.
In conclusion, the initiative represents an opportunity for Romanians to learn about their rights and to get involved in the development of the spaces where they live. Those interested can follow the event schedule on the festival's official platforms to participate in the discussions in their cities.
