Romania leads Europe in the number of IT engineers, but lacks development capital
Romania holds a very important place in Europe's technology industry, possessing extremely valuable human resources. Recently, industry experts have highlighted that our country has an impressive number of specialists in the IT sector. However, despite having talent and technical knowledge, the industry faces a major challenge: the lack of investment funds.
Elena Enache, a representative of BRDG3 Capital, explained in a recent analysis that Romania ranks first in Europe for the number of IT engineers per capita. Globally, our country holds an honorable position, ranking sixth. These figures demonstrate that the education system and Romanians' passion for technology have created a solid base of professionals.
Although we have technology and well-trained engineers, the main problem remains capital. Without solid financial investment, it is difficult for the innovative ideas of young programmers to transform into successful global businesses. Many small technology companies, called "start-ups," need financial support to grow and compete with major economic powers.
In conclusion, Romania's future success in the technology field depends on finding a balance between human talent and financial resources. If the country succeeds in attracting more foreign and local investors, Romanian specialists will be able to develop their own products that are recognized worldwide. It is an essential moment for the private sector and investors to collaborate more closely.
