Romania has officially submitted the request for the fifth installment of funds from the PNRR
The Government of Romania has officially announced that it has submitted payment request number 5 under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). This request has a total value of 2.84 billion euros, representing an important step for financing the country's development projects.
Payment request number 5 includes 75 targets and milestones that must be met in order to access these European funds. These objectives target essential reforms in various areas of public interest, aimed at modernizing infrastructure and services in Romania.
The process of accessing European funds through the PNRR is closely monitored by the European Commission. After the submission of the documentation, the authorities in Brussels will evaluate the progress made by Romania to ensure that all conditions stipulated in the plan are met in accordance with the assumed commitments.
This funding installment is crucial for the continuation of investments in the economy, education, and healthcare. The Romanian authorities hope that the evaluation will proceed quickly so that the requested amounts can reach the national budget to support the projects currently underway throughout the country.
