Significant progress at the construction site of the Craiova Regional Emergency Hospital
The largest medical infrastructure project in Romania is advancing rapidly in Craiova. Currently, over 600 workers are on-site daily at the future Regional Emergency Hospital, an essential investment for improving the healthcare system in the Oltenia region.
The new medical unit will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and will provide complex services to patients from the entire area. The project includes modern facilities designed to ensure high-quality medical care, adapted to current European standards.
A distinctive feature of this hospital is the heliport, which will be built specifically to allow for rapid interventions. It will be capable of receiving large helicopters, including the Black Hawk S70 model, frequently used in rescue missions and emergency medical transport.
The completion of this hospital represents an important step for the country's critical infrastructure. Authorities estimate that once opened, the center will significantly reduce waiting times for patients in need of specialized medical care and provide better conditions for medical staff.
