Siegfried Mureșan has officially submitted the government program to Parliament
Designated Prime Minister Siegfried Mureșan has taken an important step in the process of forming the new executive. On Saturday, he officially submitted his government program to Parliament, along with the complete list of ministers proposed for the new cabinet.
This move represents an essential stage in the constitutional procedure for installing a new government in Romania. The submitted documents contain the economic and social priorities that Mureșan's team intends to implement in the coming period, should it receive the vote of confidence from the elected officials.
After the official submission of the file, the designated Prime Minister held a press conference to explain the main objectives of his mandate. Currently, public and political attention is focused on the negotiations for the parliamentary support necessary to validate the government.
In the coming days, members of Parliament will analyze the government program and hear the proposed ministers in the specialized committees. The result of the final vote will decide whether the team proposed by Siegfried Mureșan will take over the leadership of the executive or if further political consultations will be necessary.
