New prices for the iPhone 18 Pro in Romania: How much Apple fans will pay
Tech enthusiasts in Romania have learned the first details regarding the costs of the new Apple phone series. Local retailers have already begun displaying prices for the new iPhone 18 models, sparking major interest among consumers looking to upgrade their devices.
According to recently published information, the top-tier model, the iPhone 18 Pro Max with 256 GB of storage, will have a price of 8,499.90 RON. This amount reflects the product's premium positioning on the Romanian market, as it is a device aimed at users seeking high performance and state-of-the-art specifications.
The high price is influenced by production costs, import taxes, and the American manufacturer's pricing policy for the European market. Although the sum may seem significant to many buyers, demand for Apple phones remains constant in Romania, where the brand enjoys high popularity.
In the coming period, other authorized retailers are expected to display their official offers as well. Customers will also be able to opt for various payment methods, such as installment purchases or "trade-in" programs, through which they can offer their old phone in exchange to reduce the final cost of the new purchase.
In conclusion, the launch of the new iPhone series confirms the upward trend in prices for luxury electronic devices. It remains to be seen how the local market will react and what the sales volume will be in the first months after the new models officially go on sale.
