Siegfried Mureșan presents the government program in Parliament
Siegfried Mureșan, the prime minister-designate, began a series of official consultations in the Romanian Parliament today. He went to the legislative headquarters to present the government program proposed for the coming period.
During these meetings, the prime minister-designate is holding important discussions with representatives of the National Liberal Party (PNL). The purpose of these consultations is to obtain the necessary support for the government team and for the economic and social measures included in his governance plan.
The government program represents the central document that establishes the priorities of the new executive. It contains the main objectives that the prime minister wishes to achieve during his mandate, being an essential step for the validation of the new cabinet before the parliamentarians.
After the discussions with PNL members, Siegfried Mureșan is set to continue negotiations with other political parties as well. The process of forming the new government is being watched with great attention by citizens, as the decisions made in these days will influence the political and economic direction of the country.
In the coming period, it is expected that Parliament will set the date for the investiture vote. This stage is decisive for the new government to be able to officially begin its activity and implement the measures presented today.
