Sudden weather change in Romania: temperatures drop significantly and storms emerge
Meteorologists have issued a warning regarding a radical change in the weather in Romania, starting Monday evening. After a period of high temperatures, a wave of cold air will cross the country, bringing a sharp cooling of the atmosphere in most regions.
Throughout Tuesday, atmospheric instability will intensify. Specialists are announcing significant rainfall, accompanied by wind intensifications and storms. There is also a risk of hail in several areas, which is why the population is advised to be cautious.
The impact on temperatures will be considerable. Thermal values will drop by more than 10 degrees Celsius compared to previous days, marking a sudden transition from warm weather to a much colder thermal regime, typical of late autumn.
Authorities recommend that citizens follow updated weather forecasts and official warnings issued by the National Administration of Meteorology. It is important for residents to avoid taking shelter under trees or unstable structures during storms and to adapt their clothing to the new weather conditions.
