The low-cost airline Wizz Air, one of the most important operators on the Romanian market, has announced a change in its business strategy. This decision comes after 20 years of continuous presence in our country, a period during which the company has become an essential player for the air transport of Romanian passengers.

Currently, Wizz Air holds a vast network in Romania, operating 232 routes that connect to 26 different countries. This complex infrastructure is supported by nine operational bases established in various cities, as well as services offered at five additional airports in the country.

Although the company has not provided specific details about the new directions of its strategy, aviation analysts suggest that this change could aim at optimizing routes and adapting to the new demands of the European market.
