CFR begins rehabilitation of the railway bridge connecting Romania to Ukraine

The National Railway Company (CFR) has announced the start of rehabilitation works for a strategic railway bridge connecting Romania and Ukraine. This project is considered essential for improving transport infrastructure between the two neighboring countries.
The total investment for this objective amounts to 42 million lei. The funds are allocated for modernizing the structure so that train traffic can take place under conditions of increased safety and efficiency.
According to the plan established by the authorities, the rehabilitation works will last approximately one year. The completion of this project will facilitate the transport of goods and improve cross-border rail connections, having a positive impact on trade in the region.
This initiative is part of a broader plan for the development of railway infrastructure in Romania. Through these investments, the authorities aim to increase transit capacity and ensure better integration of the national railway network with that of neighboring states.
