Medical students in Bucharest will learn entrepreneurship concepts
The "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest recently announced a new strategic partnership. This collaboration, carried out together with the Federation of Medical Employers (FEPAM) and the National Confederation for Female Entrepreneurship (CONAF), aims to modernize the training of future doctors in Romania.
The main goal of this project is to introduce concepts of medical entrepreneurship into university education. Students will have the opportunity to participate in mentorship programs, offered by experts in the field, to better understand how the private medical sector functions.
In addition to theoretical courses, the partnership facilitates student access to internships in private clinics and hospitals. This initiative is intended to help young doctors adapt more easily to the demands of the labor market and acquire essential practical skills for their future careers.
Through this collaboration, the university aims to offer students a broader perspective on the medical profession. Understanding management and entrepreneurship can be a significant advantage for doctors who wish to open their own practices or manage medical units in the future.
This project represents an important step for medical education in Romania, emphasizing the link between the academic and economic environments. It is expected that these new opportunities will contribute to the professional development of students and to the improvement of the quality of medical services offered to patients.
