Opportunities for Romanian startups in military and space technology
A group of startups from Romania will have the opportunity to present their projects to prestigious international investors. The event, which will take place in Hungary, focuses on future-oriented fields such as space technology (SpaceTech), defense technology (DefenseTech), and dual-use technologies, which can be used for both civilian and military purposes.
In total, between 8 and 10 Romanian companies will be selected to participate in these direct discussions. This initiative represents an important chance for local entrepreneurs to attract funding and establish strategic partnerships at the European level. Interest in these sectors has grown significantly in recent years, against the backdrop of geopolitical changes and the need for innovation in security.
Dual-use technologies are currently highly sought after because they can provide innovative solutions to current challenges. Investors are interested in projects that can improve communication systems, space surveillance, or cybersecurity. Participating in this event gives Romanian startups access to a vast network of experts and capital, essential elements for development in the international market.
This initiative highlights the high potential of Romania's business ecosystem in high-tech sectors. By connecting with foreign investors, local companies can move to a higher level of development, thus contributing to strengthening Romania's position in the European technology industry. The selection of the firms will be a rigorous process, aimed at identifying the most promising business ideas in the country.
