Ministry of Finance launches a 700 million lei program for advanced technologies
The Romanian Ministry of Finance has recently launched an ambitious program called "TechUp Romania" for public debate. This initiative aims to support companies that invest in research, development, and cutting-edge technologies.
The budget allocated for this project is over 700 million lei each year. The funds are intended for firms that wish to innovate and bring modern technological solutions to the local and international market. Authorities hope that this financial support will help the Romanian economy become more competitive.
The program focuses on essential areas, such as digitalization and the development of new technological products. Through this measure, the state aims to encourage entrepreneurs to invest more in creative ideas and efficient production processes that utilize artificial intelligence or other advanced technologies.
Currently, the document is in the public consultation stage, where specialists and business representatives can provide suggestions. After this stage is completed, the program will be officially adopted so that the funding of selected projects can begin.
This initiative represents an important step for the development of the technology sector in Romania. It is estimated that, through this program, many local companies will manage to modernize their operations, thus contributing to the country's long-term economic growth.
