A delegation from Romania participates in the international Catholic Action conference at the Vatican
A delegation consisting of representatives from Catholic Action in Romania recently left for the Vatican to participate in a large-scale international conference. The event, titled "Catholic Action: Synodality and Mission," brings together members of the organization from around the world to discuss the future of the church and the role of the laity in modern society.
The main purpose of this meeting is to strengthen collaboration between Catholic communities in different countries. Participants are analyzing how Christian values can be promoted more effectively in the current context, placing emphasis on dialogue, listening, and the active involvement of young people in the social and spiritual life of their communities.
For the Romanian delegation, this event represents an important opportunity to share local experiences and learn from the best practices of other international organizations. The members of the delegation have prepared presentations on projects carried out in the country, which aim to support vulnerable people and promote education among young people.
The conference is taking place during a moment of global reflection on synodality, a concept that encourages the participation of all believers in the decisions and mission of the church. The discussions held over these days will contribute to the formation of new action strategies that will subsequently be implemented in the dioceses of Romania.
At the end of these working days, the Romanian representatives will return to the country with new ideas and an expanded network of international contacts. This experience is seen as an important step for the development of Catholic Action's activities in Romania and for strengthening ties with the universal Catholic community.
