Survey: How women in Romania experience the changes caused by menopause
A recent study conducted by Novo Romania brings to public attention the challenges that women go through during menopause. The research highlights that this stage of life brings significant physical and emotional transformations, which influence the well-being of women in our country.
According to the survey results, the most frequent change observed by participants is weight gain. This bodily change is often accompanied by a state of discomfort, which can affect the self-confidence and daily quality of life of women at this age.
A worrying aspect revealed by the study is the psychological pressure that women feel. Almost half of the respondents, specifically 47%, stated that they have blamed themselves, at least occasionally, for the changes they are going through. This feeling of guilt indicates the need for better information and adequate emotional support in society.
Furthermore, for approximately 32% of the women surveyed, menopause symptoms represent a constant source of stress. These data underscore the importance of discussing women's health openly in order to reduce stigmatization and provide effective medical or psychological solutions.
In conclusion, the results of this survey show that menopause is not just a medical issue, but also a social one. It is essential that women in Romania receive the necessary support to go through this stage of life with more understanding and less self-criticism.
