Government launches a one-billion-euro program for advanced technologies
The Romanian Government has included a major investment project worth over one billion euros on the agenda of today's meeting. This initiative aims to support the development of advanced technologies and the digitalization of the national economy, representing one of the largest financial allocations in recent times for this sector.
The funds come from European and national sources and are intended for companies that wish to implement modern digital solutions. The main objective of the program is to increase the competitiveness of Romanian firms on the international market through the adoption of artificial intelligence, automation, and secure data infrastructure.
Authorities specify that this program will provide direct financial support for research and development projects.
