“Save the Children” organization launches a support program for parents of teenagers
The “Save the Children” organization in Romania has announced the launch of a new initiative designed to support families. The program, titled “Connected with my teenager,” consists of a series of information and counseling sessions dedicated to parents who want to improve their relationship with their children during their teenage years.
Adolescence is often marked by complex emotional and behavioral changes, which can create communication difficulties within the family. Through this project, specialists aim to provide parents with the necessary tools to better understand the emotional needs of young people, as well as to manage conflicts in a constructive and calm manner.
The sessions will address essential topics, such as managing risks in the online environment, preventing bullying, and the importance of maintaining an open dialogue. Participants will have the opportunity to learn active listening techniques and find out how they can offer support to their children without exerting unnecessary pressure on them.
Registration for these courses is already open, and the organizers encourage all interested parents to participate. This initiative is part of the organization's ongoing efforts to promote mental health among young people and to strengthen family ties in current Romanian society.
Through this endeavor, “Save the Children” emphasizes that a healthy relationship between parents and teenagers is the foundation for the harmonious development of young people. Additional information regarding the session schedule and registration methods can be found on the organization's official website.
