Problems for U Cluj: Player injured ahead of match against Dynamo Kyiv
The Universitatea Cluj football team is going through a difficult moment during preparations for the new season. While at their training camp, the Transylvanians received bad news just before an important friendly match against the Ukrainian team Dynamo Kyiv.
One of the team's key players suffered an unexpected injury during training. Due to the severity of the situation, he could no longer stay with his teammates and was immediately sent back to Romania. The player will go to Cluj to undergo detailed medical tests and begin the recovery process.
This absence represents a blow to the coach's plans, especially since the match against Dynamo Kyiv was an excellent opportunity to check the team's level. Dynamo Kyiv is an internationally renowned opponent, and such a test is essential to see how the players handle themselves against a strong team.
Despite this loss, the atmosphere within the squad remains professional. The rest of the players continue to train intensely to be ready for the start of the championship. The coach will now have to find quick solutions to replace the absent player in the upcoming warm-up matches.
"U" Cluj supporters have already expressed their support on social media, hoping that the injury is not a long-term one. Everyone is now waiting for the medical results to find out how long the footballer will be off the pitch.
