A new Heart Institute, ready for inauguration in Mureș County
A medical project of great importance for Romania is nearing completion in Mureș County. It concerns the new Heart Institute, a modern healthcare unit that will significantly improve the cardiology services offered to patients across the country.
The total investment for this construction amounts to over 770 million lei. This impressive sum reflects the complexity of the project and the state-of-the-art equipment the hospital will have for treating cardiovascular conditions.
A large part of the funding, specifically nearly 500 million lei, comes from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). This allocation of European funds highlights the priority that authorities are placing on modernizing Romania's medical infrastructure.
The new institute will become a reference center for patients with heart problems, offering treatment conditions at European standards. Local authorities and health representatives are now preparing for the official inauguration of the building, which will mark an important step for the Romanian medical system.
