Romania and Ukraine to produce military drones in Cluj-Napoca
Romania and Ukraine have announced a strategic partnership for the production of military drones on our country's territory. The project will be implemented in the city of Cluj-Napoca, marking an important milestone in the industrial and military collaboration between the two neighboring states.
In the first phase of this project, the factory in Cluj-Napoca will produce three main categories of unmanned aerial vehicles. These include FPV (First Person View) drones, drones specialized for interception, and drones intended for reconnaissance missions. The technology used will allow for the manufacturing of modern equipment, which is essential for current security.
According to official information, the production unit will also manufacture attack drones, known as "kamikaze" drones. These devices have become very important tools in modern conflicts, being used for their high precision in striking established targets.
This initiative represents a significant development for the defense industry in Romania. Through this partnership, our country strengthens its role as a producer of advanced military technology, while simultaneously contributing to supporting defense capabilities in the region.
