Prime Minister of Romania, Ilie Bolojan, recently announced significant progress in our country's accession process to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The statement was made during the launch event of the OECD Economic Survey of Romania, a document that analyzes the current state of the national economy.

In his speech, the head of government emphasized that joining this international body, also known as the "club of developed countries," represents a major strategic objective for Romania. Officials estimate that the integration process will be successfully completed within this year, marking an important milestone for consolidating the state's economic status globally.

Discussions during the event focused on several essential directions for the country's development, including fiscal reforms and improving the labor market. OECD experts provided recommendations aimed at helping Romania attract greater investment and create a more stable and predictable business environment for investors.

In addition to economic measures, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of modernizing public administration to meet the rigorous standards imposed by the OECD. These changes are necessary to ensure sustainable economic growth that directly reflects in the quality of life for Romanian citizens.

Completing this accession process will bring Romania recognition for responsible economic policies and will facilitate the exchange of best practices with the world's most advanced economies. The government continues to work closely with representatives of the organization to implement the final measures required before full integration.
