Five children from Gaza have been medically evacuated to Romania
A group of five children in need of urgent medical care has been evacuated from the Gaza Strip with the help of a plane provided by the Romanian authorities. This humanitarian mission was organized to provide support to victims of the conflict in the region who require treatments that cannot be provided in the war zone.
Upon arrival in the country, the authorities established a care plan for each patient individually. Two of the evacuated children, along with their caregivers, will remain in Bucharest. They will be admitted to specialized medical facilities, where they will benefit from monitoring and complex medical treatments.
The rest of the children in the group will be directed to other medical centers or will receive the necessary assistance depending on their state of health. Medical staff in Romania have prepared to provide all the necessary support to these vulnerable patients, ensuring that they receive appropriate care.
This action highlights Romania's involvement in international efforts to help civilians affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The Romanian authorities continue to monitor the situation and collaborate with international partners to facilitate such rescue missions whenever needed.
