A new wave of fuel shortages is being observed in Russia
Problems with the supply of gasoline and diesel fuel have once again arisen in Russian regions. According to the Reuters agency, this is the second wave of shortages in recent times, covering a significant part of the country. Drivers and gas station owners are reporting fuel shortages amid high demand and logistical difficulties.
Experts cite repair work at several large oil refineries as the main reason. The temporary suspension of production has led to a reduction in the volume of fuel entering the domestic market. In addition, the situation is affected by seasonal factors, such as active agricultural work, which requires large volumes of diesel fuel.
The Russian government is already taking measures to stabilize the situation. The Ministry of Energy is holding negotiations with oil companies to increase supplies to the domestic market and limit the export of petroleum products. The authorities emphasize that they are doing everything possible to prevent price increases and ensure the uninterrupted operation of gas stations.
Despite the measures being taken, the situation remains tense. In some regions, queues are observed at gas stations, and station owners are forced to limit the sale of fuel per person. Experts expect that once repair work at the plants is completed, the supply situation should gradually normalize.
