Fuel cards offered in Naryan-Mar for reproductive health screenings
The authorities of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug have launched an unusual campaign for local residents. In Naryan-Mar, citizens are being offered a fuel certificate worth 1,000 rubles in exchange for undergoing a medical examination of their reproductive system.
This initiative is aimed at drawing public attention to issues of family planning and health. Participants in the program can receive a free consultation with specialists, after which they are issued a voucher that can be used at local gas stations.
Such measures highlight the regional authorities' desire to encourage citizens to take a more responsible approach to their health. In recent years, demographic issues have been actively discussed in Russia, and such programs are becoming one of the tools of state policy in this area.
The organizers of the campaign hope that this approach will help increase the number of people undergoing regular medical check-ups.
