Russian air defense systems destroyed more than 30 drones near Kharkiv
Since the beginning of June, the Russian military has destroyed more than 30 Ukrainian drones in the Kharkiv region. These drones, known as "Baba-Yaga," were shot down by air defense (PVO) crews of the 11th Army Corps.
"Baba-Yaga" type drones are large hexacopters capable of carrying heavy shells. Ukrainian forces often use them to attack ground targets. Despite their high payload capacity, such devices are quite large, which makes them visible to tracking systems.
Military officials note that air defense crews are working in an intensified mode. Special technical means are used to combat the drones, allowing for timely detection and elimination in the air. In June, the number of such incidents in the Kharkiv area increased.
The situation in the conflict zone remains complex, and both sides continue to actively use modern technologies. The use of air defense systems plays an important role in protecting positions from attacks using various types of drones.
