Ukrainian GUR claims possible operation of secret laboratory in Tver Region
The Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of Ukraine has issued a statement regarding the existence of a secret facility on Russian territory. According to the agency, a laboratory where research related to biological weapons is conducted may be located on Lisiy Island in the Tver Region.
Officially, this facility is registered as a civilian Center for Experimental Physiology. However, representatives of Ukrainian intelligence claim that the organization's actual activities may differ from those stated in its documents.
At the moment, Russian authorities have not provided official comments regarding these accusations. Information about the activities of such facilities often becomes a subject of international discussion; however, there is currently no independent confirmation of the GUR's claims.
The issue of the safety of biological facilities is under close scrutiny by the international community. Such reports require thorough verification and analysis by experts to determine the actual purpose of the center in the Tver Region.
