Russian developers create an alternative to foreign microchip analysis equipment
Positive Technologies has unveiled Russia's first laser system designed for microelectronics security research. Previously, such devices were supplied to the country from abroad, but due to restrictions on technology imports, Russian enterprises faced a shortage of critical equipment.
The new development allows specialists to conduct in-depth analysis of microchips and check them for vulnerabilities. This equipment is essential for ensuring cybersecurity in various fields, ranging from industrial automation to consumer electronics. Utilizing this domestic system will help reduce dependence on foreign suppliers in the high-tech sector.
Creating an indigenous laser system has become a significant step for the development of Russian microelectronics. Experts note that having tools for independent chip testing allows for better control over the quality and security of products manufactured within the country.
In the near future, the company plans to begin serial production of these systems. It is expected that the new equipment will be in demand by government laboratories and private companies working in the fields of information security and hardware development.
