Donald Trump's representatives arrive in Moscow for negotiations
Special representatives of US President-elect Donald Trump — Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner — have arrived in Moscow. The purpose of their visit is to discuss peace initiatives for resolving the current conflict.
According to available information, the arrival of the American delegation coincided with a period of reduced intensity in hostilities. This visit is viewed as an important step in the diplomatic process aimed at finding ways to de-escalate the situation.
Jared Kushner, who previously served as a senior advisor to the US President, and businessman Steve Witkoff are representing the interests of the new American administration. Their participation in the negotiations underscores the Trump team's desire to be actively involved in international issues from their very first days in office.
At the moment, details of the meetings and specific proposals from the parties have not been disclosed. Officials are refraining from detailed comments for now, however, the very fact of the arrival of a delegation of this level is attracting significant attention from the global community.
Further developments will depend on the results of these negotiations. Experts note that the visit could be the beginning of a series of consultations that will determine the vector of future relations between Russia and the United States.
