T-Bank has introduced QR-code payment for purchases with a limit of up to 1 million rubles
T-Bank has announced the launch of a new feature for its clients: the ability to pay for purchases using a QR code. This payment method is becoming increasingly popular in Russia, as it allows transactions to be made quickly and without the use of a physical bank card.
According to the bank's official statement, the new system supports payments for large amounts. Users can now pay for goods or services costing up to 1 million rubles per transaction. This significantly expands the cashless payment options available to the bank's clients.
To use the new feature, a user needs to open the bank's mobile app and select the corresponding section on the main screen. After scanning the QR code at a store checkout or on a merchant's website, the purchase amount will automatically appear in the app for transaction confirmation.
The introduction of such technologies reflects the general trend of digitalization in the Russian financial sector. Banks are striving to make the payment process as convenient and secure as possible by offering clients alternatives to traditional contactless payment methods.
