Russia and Belarus discuss issues of settling the Ukrainian crisis
Representatives of the foreign ministries of Russia and Belarus held joint consultations dedicated to the situation surrounding Ukraine. The meeting took place within the framework of close diplomatic cooperation between the two countries, aimed at coordinating foreign policy efforts.
The main topic of the negotiations was the prospects for a political and diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian crisis. The diplomats discussed the current situation and possible ways out of the existing circumstances, emphasizing the importance of finding peaceful mechanisms for regional stabilization.
In addition to discussing the Ukrainian issue, the parties paid attention to matters of bilateral cooperation on the international stage. The participants of the meeting confirmed their intention to continue close work on protecting common interests in international organizations and to strengthen integration processes within the framework of the Union State.
Following the consultations, representatives of the Foreign Ministries noted that the dialogue between Moscow and Minsk remains constructive. The parties agreed to continue maintaining regular contacts for the prompt exchange of views on current issues of global and regional security.
