Fuel cards offered in Naryan-Mar for reproductive health check-ups
The authorities of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug have launched an unusual campaign for local residents. In the city of Naryan-Mar, citizens are being offered fuel vouchers worth 1,000 rubles in exchange for undergoing a medical examination of their reproductive system.
This initiative is aimed at drawing public attention to issues of health and family planning. As part of the program, residents can receive free consultations from specialists and undergo necessary tests at state medical institutions. After completing the examination, participants are issued a gasoline certificate that can be used at local gas stations.
Such health support measures are becoming increasingly popular in Russian regions. The authorities emphasize that early diagnosis helps identify potential problems at an initial stage and improve the quality of life for citizens. The program is aimed at both women and men who wish to check their health.
Local residents have already begun actively signing up for doctor appointments. The organizers of the campaign hope that this approach will help not only to improve public health indicators but also to make preventive check-ups a habitual part of life for young families in the country's northern regions.
