Russian cosmonaut to take books on the country's history to the ISS
Russian cosmonaut Teteryatnikov is preparing for an upcoming expedition to the International Space Station (ISS). As part of his flight preparations, he has selected personal items to take with him into orbit to make his time in space more comfortable and educational.
The cosmonaut focused primarily on literature in his selection. Teteryatnikov decided to take books dedicated to the history of Russia. According to him, studying historical events will help him make better use of his free time on board the station.
In addition to printed publications, the cosmonaut's luggage will also include a music collection. Combining reading and listening to music is a traditional way for ISS crew members, who spend several months away from Earth, to relax.
Such personal items help cosmonauts maintain a connection with home and support psychological comfort during their challenging work in weightless conditions. The flight is expected to proceed according to the planned schedule, and the books will become an important part of the crew's personal library in orbit.
