MIPT and Positive Technologies launch a new cybersecurity program
The Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and Positive Technologies have announced the launch of a unique educational project. For the first time in Russia, a university will offer a specialization dedicated to reverse engineering—the process of analyzing software to understand its underlying principles.
Reverse engineering is a critical component of modern cybersecurity. Specialists in this field analyze software code to identify vulnerabilities and protect information systems from hacker attacks. The new course will help students gain practical skills that are currently in high demand in the Russian labor market.
The curriculum was developed by Positive Technologies experts in collaboration with MIPT faculty. Project participants will study complex technical disciplines and work with real-world cases that information security professionals encounter on a daily basis.
This project aims to train highly qualified personnel for the country's technology sector. The organizers are confident that the collaboration between a leading technical university and a major IT company will allow students to adapt to the workplace more quickly and contribute to the development of Russia's digital defense.
