Aftermath of the overnight strike on Kyiv: casualties reported
On the night of July 19, Kyiv was subjected to a massive missile attack. According to officials, the attack led to significant destruction in several districts of the city, as well as human casualties.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the information regarding the consequences of the strike. According to official data, one person died as a result of the shelling. Another 16 residents of the city sustained injuries of varying severity and were taken to medical facilities.
Emergency services, firefighters, and rescuers worked at the impact sites. City authorities reported damage to residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. Necessary assistance was provided to the residents of the affected areas.
The situation in the region remains tense. The international community continues to monitor the development of events, calling on the parties to seek diplomatic ways to resolve the conflict in order to avoid further civilian casualties.
