The celebration of Russia's National Flag Day takes place annually on August 22, but in many districts of the capital, events begin in advance. Organizers emphasize that such gatherings help to unite people of different generations around shared values.
Such initiatives are an important part of the capital's public life. The event in Chertanovo Yuzhnoye served as an example of how city residents express their civic stance and support state holidays.
