World Health Organization warehouse destroyed in overnight strikes
On Thursday night, a World Health Organization (WHO) warehouse was completely destroyed in Ukraine. According to representatives of the organization, the building was located in the Odesa region and was used to store humanitarian aid, including medicines and first-aid equipment.
No warehouse staff were injured in the incident, as there was no one inside the premises at night. However, WHO leadership expressed serious concern over what happened. According to them, the destruction of humanitarian supplies will significantly complicate the provision of medical support to the civilian population in the region.
Representatives of the organization emphasized that medical facilities and humanitarian aid warehouses must remain outside the zone of hostilities. Currently, WHO experts are assessing the scale of the damage and trying to determine how to restore the supply of necessary medicines to the affected areas.
The international community continues to monitor the situation. The destruction of the warehouse has become another example of how military actions affect the availability of basic medical services for civilians, which is causing concern among humanitarian organizations around the world.
